CA repair order requirements

California dealers--

Is there a legal requirement that when an RO is printed, the part number descriptions must be all capital letters?

Is there a requirement that the first letter of a word must be upper case and other letters be lower case?

If there is such a requirement, do you know where I could find a copy of it on the CA web site or is there a phone number I can call?

If this is true, then we have truly over-stepped the boundries of prudent legislation.

I have since spoken with a Bureau of Automotive Repair employee. She has confirmed this is not a requirement.

I'm not sure why the dealership employee thought this might be a requirement, but you never know when the government is involved.
