Is anyone aware of software available that would interface with your DMS on repair order status and customer name and pull to a screen in the customer lounge,simular to the airport flight status screens.We are on ADP

Used tp be a Dodge dealer in Bartlesville, OK, that is now a Honda dealer. He had an IT person that wrote a program to do that, but took it a step further, a customer could access the same screen at home or at work to check the status of his repair. He was on Adams DMS.

New product, looks pretty cool ... I know they have it for appointments, but they should be able to do the waiters in some way as well.

Xtime will be releasing what you are looking for & it integrates with ADP, R&R. We will be seeing it the beginning of next month. We are on R&R & will be using it ASAP. I saw a demo of it on Monday. Very easy to use. It will also let the customer to be able see status from the Web and can also be set up to e-mail the customer when the status changes.

One can only assume that you totally ignored reading the terms and conditions of posting on these forums when you registered. Nope, it was directed at these vendors that ignore the rules when they register and try to peddle their own goods or services on the forums -- expressly forbidden. I am sure you would rather have the opionion(s) of people actually using the product or service as opposed to the pitchman, who has a rather biased perspective.

I did breeze thru a couple of the sites they posted...some of it actually looks pretty promising.
