Quick question-We are a GM Dealer & my Dealer Prin. wants to raise our warranty rate. Its been so long since I've done that, b/c we are on the plan were it is done automatically. I looked in the policy & proc. manual but cannot find anything, What are the different plans (A & B ??). And how should I approach doing this change or asking for a rate increase??
Thank you,

Send me your email address and I'll send you (and only you) the special report on getting this done for GM. I normally try to save this kind of stuff for subscribers, but I don't know if you do or not, and you've always been really helpful on the boards.

I know Rob sent you some info, but the section in P & P is: 1.5.1 read all, main section is b. use forms at the end of the section. Takes some foot work. Our rep just yesterday told us what it takes:
Training must be minimum nat'l level..better if 100% or better, CSI at or above region, WINS report at or below nat'l level/unit, other investments that show GM your dealer is committed, ie: NEW BUILDINGS, remodeling, etc.
We are doing the leg work now. Dealer must sign the cover letter explaing the reason for the increase. Your letter should show the increase amount. GM will entertain 5% ok, anymore will be questionable. We were wanting an $8.00 increase to stay in range of some of the other domestics and to get in sight of the high line imports. We may get a $5.00 increase...? We have Cadillac, Hummer, Buick, Pontaic, GMC truck. We are the second lowest in town of all Dealers.
