Don't mind me. Just venting.

Our fixed operations has generated nearly *four times* more net profit for the dealership than variable has.
Why, then, in a meeting to discuss "trimming the fat", every suggested cut back or cost saving measure involves service, parts, or body shop giving up something while new and used car sales departments are left entirely untouched ?
Car sales are less than half of normal yet a half dozen $8k-9k/month sales managers are a necessity while an $8.50/hour lot attendant ...expensed to the most profitable department in the store...is excess baggage?
What's up with that ?
No need to answer.
I feel better already.
Cheers
