Hours turned (flagged) by lube tech

Do you have a dedicated lube tech? Typically this person spends most of his/her day doing LOFs and multi-point inspections.

On average - how many hours does this person actually turn?

I am not talking about how much this person may or may not "upsell". If this person works a full 40 hour week how many hours have you billed by the end of that 40 hours?

I realize no one is going to get 40 hours doing this job. But should we see 15 hours / 20 hours....What?

I think it is fair to add that we only bill 3/10 (.3) for an LOF. A LOF w/rotate is .7.

Although I wish it were higher, most of the hourly lube techs from my clients in Nj actually flag about 25 hours/week

both my lube guys average 21-26 hours per week , i pay them a flat amount while standing and cleaning and then a higher amount when clocked , no overtime

My lof techs produce an average of 35.5 hrs per week doing just LOF/rotations, air filters, fixing flats. I have one lof/line tech that does light engine repairs, intake gaskets, water pumps,etc. He averages 51.5 hrs / week. All are on flat rate.
