What does you average b/shop tech flag in comparison to hours worked? My b/shop has been unprofitable for the past couple years. Most of my techs (minus the painter I have 5 techs) average between 1.4 and 2.1 hours flagged vs hours worked. Is this really low?

Average lately for body shop techs is 200-250%, so the guy at 2.1 is right on the money and those arounf 1.4 are a ways from it.

This depends on your work though, heavy insurance will skew the number up, heavy CP, internal or warranty work might bring it down. Also production is in part a function of how much work there is to do.
