How big a deal is this at your store? Curious what kind of recognition and/or incentives you have for a tech to complete the assesments.

We're very "pro training" at our store and if a tech wants to "go for it", we'll certainly support and encourage him all the way.

However, in the day-to-day operation of a service department I don't think there's any measureable or tangible advantge to it. Its more of a "personal achievement" sort of thing rather than a benefit to the store.
