Labor Rate Increas

We are a Chrysler dealer working on the spreadsheet to submit to Chrysler. It has a column for the discount amount, however our RO's do not show a discount. The initial rate was discount. Does Chrysler want the spreadsheet to match the RO or do they want me to reflect the retail price and plug in a discount.

The rate is what is charged on the line, the discount section is for any coupons or other discounts that are taken off the charged amount.

So if you normal charge $85/hour and on this job line you charged:
1.0 $76.50
Then that is the amount to enter. If you charged.
1.0 $85.00
less 8.50 coupon
Then put that in the discount column. Normally the discount column is used to allocate a coupon that was offered on the entire ticket, and in those cases I do a straight-percentage basis, unless stated otherwise by the accounting details.
