Toyota service contract thoughts

Does Toyota service contracts pay for diag?
If they do can you give me the customer assistance phone# for them and the info she should have ready when calling and the hours they are open. My mother in law was charged $89.00 for diag on a fuel/air ratio sensor that they are replacing under the contract. The service contract carries a $0 deductable.

Cannot answer your question but do want to say "Job well done" in seeing that your Mother-In-Law has a car and a service contract you cannot work on - smart move!!

I assume you are talking about TEC "Toyota extended service contract" If so the answer is yes and no,yes if a techstream is required to diagnose and No if it is a dealer trying to get paid diag for something visual like a hose off.In your case yes they should cover or at least i should say i dont have this trouble at my dealer,we call for the approval and get paid.What state are you in ?? i may be able to give you name and number to call...

We are in Nashua New Hampshire and yes it it a Toyota warranty. The diag was done on a Saturday when the service contract location was closed for approval. She paid the diag on Saturday and waited for a call on Monday. When she found out it was covered she asked how to get reimbursed for the Diag. They told her the diag is separate. The sad part is she has all of her cash work done there as well.
