Kent Moore battery tester

Now that GM wants us to use the Kent-Moore J42000 battery tester, does anyone know where I can get a listing of the codes? I'd like to be able to check up on our techs!!

I don't know where you can get a list of the codes but, like you, I like to check up on the techs. If the battery is not being replaced for leaks (which is most of them), I take a tester and spot check their results.
What is amazing to me is the tester will sometimes give a different fail code. I have checked a battery with it and gotten a code then recharged a battery (just for the heck of it) and retested the same battery only to find the tester says it is a good battery. I am told by kent-moore to only test the battery without the cables hooked up to it (using the adapters supplied with the tool).

I am definitely replacing a lot more batteries now that we have to use the tester. Is anyone else having these problems?
