We've got an FMC Computerized Wheel Balancer (model 4100, I think - I'm @ home now), and every morning when we turn it on, it needs recalibrated. Do these things have batteries in them like PCs do?

P.S. - I'm going to call 1-800-fmc-blah-blah tomorrow, but thought I'd check with people who won't try to sell me a new machine! 8^)

If you are interested, the Hunter 9700 is expensive, but it isthe best machine in the r=world. Can measure tire/sheel road force. This is a big deal in the truck service end.

Follow-up -> FMC Balancers DO have a battery. They have those little battery packs found in cordless phones. Something to keep in mind, folks.
