Called R.L. Polk Brothers and they told me for .10 cents a name they can sell me 7000 customer names and addresses 1300 phone numbers for a 5 mile raduis from my zip code. What they call their Garage Predictor can basicly give me a 70-75% accurate list of people who own our manufacturer type. I have a call center calling my customers, our manufacturer sending out reminders and another service sending out reminders from information in our DMS.How can I incorperate this information with what I am already doing without entering 7000 names in our DMS? Anyone tried this? Thanks

I have done this before in the past, I received the names on a disc- I worked with my direct mail company and we drafted a personal letter that we mailed in flights to all of these people, I had done this about 7 years ago and I believe I offered a 9.95 oil change with presentation of this letter and the letter was basically to let people know who we are and our location. I did this because we were a brand new dealer and could not get alot of data from our manufacturer at the time. It really worked well because we were a new store. I wish I could remember the response rate but it was high.

The company should be able to give you this info on a disc. Have your IT person load it in the system and you will have all the names and addresses, ph# etc. The only draw back is the bad names will have to be purged. If you ask the CO to purge the file, then load the good names on disc, presto. Good list.
