OK...labor GP percentages were covered pretty well in a recent thread...but what about parts GP...
What are you averaging there?
How much attention do you pay to "list"?

Wow!! 42 points? I consider myself fairly sharp, have matrix in place....still struggling to hold 34%. What franchises are you guys with and could someone suggest something possibly that I am missing?!?! P.S. Ford here with 10 bay shop

I've got Ford as well and run a solid 44%. It won't matter how good your matrix is if you have people discounting parts. When advisors give discounts or use coupons does that come off your gross or go to an expense account? Are your parts guys allowed to discount? If so, are you checking to see what the affect is?
