There are a million pay plans on the market! I suggest you purchase the "book of pay pplans" from this website. I am sure you will find one that will work for your dealership. It has been a great investment for us.

Remeber, keep it simple so the employee can understand the plan.

I'm not sure about our booker, but I am the manager of our prep/trim dept. We have three full detailers, an hourly wash guy, & an asst manager who does accessory installations & checks in/stocks in new cars.
I am a "working" manager, as I also do installations as well as all the automotive glass work for the dealership. (Large body shop). I get a salary of $1000 per month, plus a $4 commision on every hour turned by my employees & myself. I'm satisfied with my pay. My asst manager gets a smaller salary & a smaller commision. His pay is such because of non flag work he does checking in cars for sales dept. (has been that way for ever, will change eventually if he leaves).
