wheel balancer

Postby paulmillar1 » Fri Nov 07, 2003 1:46 pm

I'm looking at purchasing a new wheel balancer & tire changer machine. The balancers that I am considering are either the Hunter dsp 9002 or the John Bean VPI system III. Tire changer, either the Hunter TC3250 or the John Bean EHP System IV. Has anyone used any of these machines and if so which is better? I am only getting biased opinions from the sales people at this point. Thanks in advance

We bought a Hunter DSP 9000 balancer, TC 3500 tire changer and a couple of Hunter brake lathes in 2000. No problems so far. They've never broken & they're idiot proof.

I've never used the John Bean equipment so I couldn't comment on it or compare it with the Hunter stuff.
