WARRANTY TRANSFER IN REYNOLDS

I'm a Dodge store and wondering if you use
#3690 to download your warranty claims to chrysler and if so how does it work out for you compared to handpunching. Would you advise to switch over? My understanding is once you set this up all claims must be entered using this system. Thanks for any input.

Bob, I have used both means of transfering claims. Using alot of trail and error, I'm in favor of buildng the claim in DealerConnect, and not using the transfer. I find DealerConnect to be very user friendly and simple to use. Because DealerConnect pays and rejects a claim immediately, I find the transfer more cumbersome.However,in R&R, you do not have to tranfer all the files once you set up this feature, but can pick and choose which claims to transfer. So if you feel the claim is coded correctly(watch out for claim type(recall-s, warranty-w, extended-f, mopar-m), transfer them and hand enter the more troublesome claims..Tom
