Does anyone out there have a repair for leaking fuel injector diaphrams at the spider distribution box on pre 94 blazers or jimmys. We have always had to completely replace the whole unit.
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,

G. Gary, the only repair right now from GM is to replace the entire CPI unit. GM does not sell any parts seperate as far as diaphrams or injectors for the early versions. They do offer injectors seperately on later versions to repair leaking injectors. Other than that your customer will be looking at a $400-500 part.

My experience is that you can only replace the entire "spider" as it is serviced as a unit as per GM. It is a very expensive part and it would be nice to offer these poor customers another way to do it short of the $500.00 gm way...
Note: There is a bulletin for extended coverage in California for 10 years/100,000 miles. (special policy)
