Time to program GM modules not covered?
Posted: Thu Feb 27, 2003 10:05 pmOn 2003 modules for our GMC vehicles require reprogramming both module and RKE system. GM has increased the time to replace the module from 2002 to 2003 because you now have to remove the door panel. However, you also required to reprogram the module. The GM labor op to do this gives you .4hrs. plus you have to reprogram the RKE module. I am sure GM did this on purpose or as I have found in other areas, never actually does a proper LTG study. If you look at other modules to preogram, you will find this to be the case as well. Does GM expect us to replace the module, reprogram the 2 systems for .3?? Has anyone had this experience or concern
