GM to Ford transition
Posted: Tue Sep 29, 2009 10:38 amAfter 20+ years with GM, I find myself forced to switch teams... going to start as a Fixed Ops Dir in a large Ford store, couple smaller import lines, body shop and quick lane.
Aside from just getting my head around the blue oval, and changing form RR to ADP systems, any suggestions for making the transition easier? I have no clue what to expect! (Isn't that exciting?!)
Would be good to get an overview of such things as warranty policies, factory structure and support, training availability etc.
Any thoughts, suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated.
