Certified used car check question.

GM dealer here. I have a question regarding GM Certified Pre-owned vehicle inspections. What is everybody charging the used car dept. and what amount of time are you paying the techs. to perform the inspection? Any responces would be helpful. Thanks.

We aren't GM, however all our stores do have certified's. Some of our stores pay 1.0 for the used vehicle safety inspection and some pay 1.5 for the used vehicle safety inspection. Then if the vehicle meets the requirements for certification the tech gets an additional 0.5 for the certification process.

Ceritified is 2 hours with oil change
used 7 year to 75,000 1.5 with oil change
used any thing over the above
1.2 with oil change
also have some nice forms made up for the used inspection send me a email and i will send you forms,
