This is a bit of an elementary concern, but I wonder how some of you handle loaner vehicles. Ford's Warranty and Policy manual is pretty clear about customer's not being eligible for a vehicle unless the vehicle is inoperable or until diagnosis confirms an overnight (or lonnger) stay. As the Warr. Admin. I end up with the rental bill after the claim is closed, and it seems as if most of our customers get into vehicles asap, even if we don't start the vehicle for a day or two. Technically, an auditor could bite on this issue, seeing as tech start and finish time and dates are printed on the bottom of the r.o. Is anyone else experiencing this? It may be a hassle for the customer to have to wait for their loaner, but isn't that the way its supposed to be?
