Question, in regards to AAA discounts or senior citizen discounts, do you service managers take the entire hit or is parts 50/50. Talking about customer pay RO's, of course. Thanks

WE DO 10% ON PARTS AND LABOR. 10% OF THE PARTS SALE AND 10% ON THE LABOR SALE.

AAA discounts and senior citizen discounts should be shared by parts and service departments.

If you are a service manager, you probably don't want to hear this but......
I was able to negotiate a 70% svc / 30% parts split with my service manager. Using G.P. as a measuring stick instead of sales, it's easy to show how much more benefit service reaps from each dollar of sales.

AAA in Southern California states 10% off Parts & Labor up to $50.00 maximum discount so it is 50/50 split.
