Paying for inspections
Posted: Thu Apr 13, 2006 11:18 amUnion Shop - Thoughts about paying for courtesy inspections/report cards? Should we/Should'nt we? If not, why not? Any ideas?
We pay our techs .5 for a thorough inspection and safety check. If we upsell more than 2.9 hours of work for the tech, he waives the .5 inspection flag.
Seems fair.
Not sure about the "union shop" angle on ths, but in a regular flat rate shop I can't really expect guys to do it for free....
