Does anyone purchase rolls of seat covers or floor mats from this company? If so, check your invoice carefully. They overcharged us 14% with a charge called STC. It appeared on the invoice total as follows:

NET INVOICE: 199.60
STC 27.94-
FREIGHT: 30.36
SALES TAX: 16.50
---------
INVOICE TOTAL: 274.40

When I called the company to see what the STC
was they told me it was a handling charge but California dealers were not supposed to pay it and to take it off before paying. Sounds fishy to me. It appears to be a credit but it is part of the total and tax was charged. I went back a couple months and it is on previous invoices that didn't cross my desk.

If you use this company you may want to see if you are being overcharged.

Thanks for the timely info. This company has been trying to sell me exhaust hoses lately. I'm in the middle of comparing $$ with some local companies and so far it's not the greatest deal on the planet but not the worst either. I have figured shipping cost in but had no idea of this STC charge. Next time they call I'll ask about it and let everyone know how they explain it to me.

I buy from these guy's once in a while however I have never seen the "stc" charge and I am in California. Canoga's salesmen are very agressive and they always call me trying to sell whatever they have an excess of. I say watch out and buyer beware.

P/S always read and question invoices
