Anyone had success using a rewards program? We have used a "10% off in service if you bought the car here" but were looking at some of the "card swipe" rewards programs.

I just saw this system at the NADA and was fairly impressed:
http://www.dealerconcepts.com/

It uses those same key tags that you get from the grocery and other stores. People really use them for other markets, so I can't imagine it wouldn't work for dealerships as well. It is probably lower tech than you were looking for with the swipe cards, but last time I looked into those there was huge front costs.

Thanks Rob. Sometimes low tech is better.

Here is another link:
www.dealerrewards.net

the higher (not huge!!!) upfront costs are more than offset with the savings you will get with back end 'discounting' and 'couponing'

The up front cost is usually less than half the cost of a FREE L.O.F.
