GM WARRANTY CODING

I have found over the years that its best to make sure your candidate for warranty admin is detail oriented and has a decent memory. Warranty claims and coding isnt all too hard as today after 21 plus years I still know very little about the mechanical end of a car yet can document and process virtually any claim. I always asked endless questions and never trusted any one person's word to learn my way through the maze of warranty. The most important thing I feel is always maintaining your library of accurate info available from all sources such as bulletins and manuals and newsletters etc!!.
By the way I've trained quite a few novices and used the Warranty Wizard as a means to demonstrate the makeup of the coding for claims with much success.
