It happened in the early 70's and told by the tech in the next bay.
Tech rolled a floor jack under the nose of a brand new Jag XKE. He was foot pumping it up and was going to give it one more pump before crawling under to see why car wasn't coming up much when the radiator started to dimple the hood.
