Anyone have a good RPG report or English Statement for tracking repair order add on repairs in ADP?

You'll want to use the LABOR file. The very first field of choice is ADD-ON-SVCS. If this field has 2 asterisks (**), then it was an add-on after the RO was originally printed. This file exists until the RO is closed and cleared out by end-of-day.

Let me know if this is enough to go on.

Dale,
Is there a way to run a report after the fact? I'm looking for a way to track upsells or add on's on repair orders. We close invoices as soon as the customer picks up so I need the ability to run a report at will over a given time period. I don't want to physically pull repair orders and look for the * by the line.

I was playing on a system and noticed that the HISTORY-LINES file contains a field for add-on-svcs. This will let you view closed RO's from the past. The field will have 2 asterisks if it is an add-on.

There are not a lot of output fields to choose from, but it will tell you which RO's had an add-on.

Another choice is to set up an RPG in the LABOR file (the one mentioned earlier in this thread) and put it in the jobstack to run everynight before RAC runs. When you set up an RPG to run in jobstack, you need to use function SGR.

Art,
I like to run reports using RPX instead of RPG. It saves the output in an EXCEL spreadsheet. It's just like RPG except it is output to the PC instead of the printer. You can further sort or change things without killing trees. You can also save the file for later access. How many times have I started a report using RPG only to find it's not what I want...? No comment.
