Do you remember when (for Cadillac) we had Craftsman League which had nice recognition for your top techs? This MOE stuff is not the same.
Any of you have a tech recognition program in place? Does the factory support you?
Anyone still have their service manager clubs together?
thanks

there is one for parts and service managers in the Rio Grande Valley (deep south texas). I am not aware of any tech recognition program at least in our dealership group. I have not heard of such a thing at least in the past 5 years at any dealer in our area...

We have a tech bonus in place based off of certs, training, MOE testing. Anywhere from $250-$2000 anually. No GM support.
And yes we still have factory supported service and parts club meetings on a quarterly basis, if that is what you are referring to.

How many dealerships involved in the manager club meetings?
How does the factory support? Do you meet at the training center or local hotel.
Thanks for your input. We used to have a healthy club but it disintegrated when GM changed from Cadillac only field teams and the public stores bought some of the area dealerships. I am trying to resurrect the program but I am getting no traction.

We have a nice program that pays the techs about 1k just before Christmas based on flag hrs. Its also a tech retention tool that is only paid if your tech is employed the entire year.
