The problem I was having with no problems found was that the guys were not checking for bulletins, so from now on, I have to sign off on ALL NPF repairs, on CP or Warranty. And mine have gone down a whole bunch!!

If you're a Ford dealership get theirs to use. If you are not let me know your email and interest and I'll send it to you. I use a lot of Ford's stuff for other manufacturers.

We don't use a check sheet or anything but it has been policy for years now that any "NPF" must be double checked by myself or the shop foreman before releasing the car back to the customer.

Usually double-checked by service Manager or advisor, notation for customer is:
"(whatever component) is working to (GM/Ford,VW, whomsoever's) specifications at this time. If concern recurs, customer is reminded of 'open door' policy, drop in when it is happening and we will check it immediately".

Same here, essentially.
Straying a bit, we've been advised not to say "within manufacturer's specifications". It appears that there's an awful lot of stuff that doesn't have published specifications at all....which can make us look a little silly if challenged on the matter.
Cheers

Bob:
I attempted to send you NPF sheet, but it bounced back to me. If you can e-mail me, I can reply (I hope) with an attachment, or if you will provide me a fax #, I'll be happy to send it to you.
Thanks!

I work for a Ford dealer and another Ford WA sent me this site that has all sorts of forms for different manufacturers. Not sure of the policies on this forum for sending links, but it is:
www.randyshepard.com*** Moderator Interjection ***
Links are not a problem, links to a direct competitor in several of our products is. For now I am leaving it, but don't be surprised if it disappears.
