Well, my techs are taking their GM MOE tests and complaining about the amount of questions related to web based training they took years past. They cannot find answers without retaking the web courses and have decided it is not worth it. Anybody else hearing grumblings.

Are you aware that you can download the transcript from the IDL. Then do a keyword search to find the answer. To find the transcript just click on Web Video Library in the main screen of the training site. Then click on the technical tab, then the class you are looking for. Next to the class description there are two links one says "VOD" the other one is the transcript that is word from word od the IDL

I know that my parts guys have questions that don't relate to their job descriptions at all. I think the questions should be relevant to their duties. When we questioned them the answer they gave us was to complete test then appeal the questions.

camaroman, I asked that question to my APM (when I had one that actually visited),he told me that GM wanted parts dept. personal to have a better understanding on how other depts operated. I asked did the other depts. have a test that asked about the parts dept operations(they didn't)? He did not know the answer.

No, you are not the only one. Many techs mine included are, just check the GM Forum. They are making it more time consuming than needed.
Mr parts, all of the questions at least for techs are taken from Web Based Training not IDL's

Ask your tchs a question..How many hours have you spent on this? It seems that most end up right around 15 hrs in both tests for the chance to win a $450 Visa Card. Let's see that would be $30.00/hr. Hmmm!!!
