We try to use all of our advertising assistance money advertising services. Recently we had a newspaper advertisement claim reject because we advertised a non-recommended service. The service was a winterization special that included replacing (NOT flushing) the coolant on GM vehicles that were 5+ years old. We have run this ad for the last couple of years with no problem, this year it gets rejected. I have asked why, giving an example of a vehicle owner's manual stating it needs to be performed at 5 years or 150,000 miles whichever occurs first.
Besides LOF & Rotate what can we advertise? Without consistant family pricing from GM any ad requires exceptions and disclaimers that make the ad look terrible - to me.
Besides venting here I would really like to know what you advertise and where you advertise it. What kind of response do you get?
