Great solution for certain situations. If you could use another tech or two but don't have the space, its a terrific fit.
If you want 100% fairness in dispatching, it's a fit.
If you want to know from your computer whats going on with any ticket, every line, at any time, it's a fit.

If you cannot drive & sell "change", than its an up hill battle.

10% of the techs will master it and love it.
10% of the techs will whine and complain.
1 tech will quit.
A few techs who felt they were getting the raw deal when it comes to "gravy work" will love it.
The techs who got hand-fed the gravy work will dislike it.

After about six months to a year, you will have a nice, well oiled machine in place....

If you get a new tech, service advisor, manager, etc. - SIGN THEM UP FOR TRAINING or the processes will fall by the wayside.
