Does anyone have internal control programs for dealerships.

Check with NADA, I think they have some booklets on this. Also your mfg, may have a manual also-GM does for sure.

GM has an internal control section in their "GM Business Manager's Handbook", and Chrysler touches on internal controls in their "Dealer Uniform Accounting System" handbook. Although GM has their "GM Accounting Manual" for free on the internet, I don't believe their Business Manager's Handbook is available free of charge at this time, nor is Chrysler's handbook that I know of.

Have you checked with some of the accounting firms that specialize in dealerships? They may not have a guidebook but they could (for a fee, of course) set up a program for you.

What particular issue are you having?
