i know this may sound off the wall but it works well, our whole makes up 60% of our overall business and we really have no bad dept,
if said charge customer does not pay his bill our whole sale guys are docked any commission paid of the sales of that customer, they know this because its explained to them and they sign a contract form about it. they are not so quick to let any body charge, the other key to the program is credit checks and limits , when you involve your people in daily operations they will work much better
