bonuses and holiday parties

Is your dealership planning to offer holiday bonuses this year to employees? If so, how do you figure them out? If your store can't swing bonuses, are there any other perks you offer to let employees know they're appreciated?

Will you be hosting a holiday party this season? If so, will it be held in or out of the dealership? Who is invited? (employees only, employees with spouses/guests)

Texaslp, sounds like employees are appreciated. How many employees do you have? What time period is the salesperson per car bonus based (whole year sales?). Where are the manager gift certificates from (retailer, etc)? Thanks

I feel totally spoiled at Christmas time. Salespeople put aside $5 per car all year and the company matches it at Christmas.
Mgrs gift certs vary from year to year, last yr male gift certs were Academy and ladies were Bed Bath Beyond, this year all are getting Best Buy and our gift basket will include a portable DVD player.

Management team gets bonuses which are negotiated in January based on certain goals.
For the employees we do a big holiday party and have a casino night where you turn in your chips in exchange for raffle tickets for a drawing for numerous gifts, usually x boxs, flat screen tv, satellite radios, PC,ipod-usually give away about 15 electronic gifts or so . The party is for spouses as well.

My former employer many years ago -used to do a holiday party and would raffle off a new car every year at the party-it seemed like the new guy that just started in parts that was not liked would win the car and then get fired a month later, that was the only bummer.
