Hello. I am the VP of a company called Fast-Net. We are a marketing and consulting company that specializes in dealership Internet Parts Marketing. We have been working on developing a profile for the Internet parts customer. Here are the results from 2 of the questions on our customer survey. I hope this information helps you develop as you develop an Internet parts marketing strategy

Why are you shopping for auto parts online?

Answers:
1. I think I can find it cheaper on the Internet, 1151, 33%
2. I Can't find the parts locally, 1126, 32%
3. I do not have a dealer near me, 420, 12%
4. Other, 282, 8%
5. Convenience, It's easier to have the part shipped then to go get it, 183, 5%
6. I am a regular Internet shopper, 181, 5%
7. I don't want to do business with any local dealers, 98, 2%


Question #4,
What are your purchase intentions?

Answers:
#1. I will buy the parts when I am convinced I have found the best price, 1859, 54%
#2. I will buy the parts as soon as someone can find them, 630, 18%
#3. I am ready to buy the parts today, 502, 14%
#4. I am not ready to buy the parts just yet, 270, 7%
#5. I just want to know the price, 94, 2%
