Good Question,
Three of my seven stores just added that feature to their home page. We are using the same processes to run the parts and service scheduling as we do for the sales department.
This weekend will be the first time we have promoted the parts and service links on the home page in conjunction with our traditional print advertising. I'll keep you posted on he results.
I can tell you this about 15% of our whole sale customers are using it to contact the stores and it helps to Keep the parts counter guys from getting tied up on the phone with nonsense. Thus increasing productivity and sales. As this platform grows I anticipate that a lot more of our wholesale parts businesses will come from the web. In my humble opinion that in itself make the whole project worthwhile.
