I have developed an interest in ECommerce/Internet Sales as a potential future career path in a dealership.
Can anybody recommend a source of training preferably distant learning or...?

I went to a class by the Cobalt Group in Seattle (http://www.cobaltgroup.com/services/dealer_services.jsp) you might wanna give them a look. I do know they do some Internet/Phone based Distance Learning for dealerships, not sure about individuals though. I work for Alaska Sales and Service in the IT Department so my job is not directly attached to 'internet sales' but directly attached to anything that happens over the web. The class was very good experience for myself and definitely helped me in improving our website, along with understanding where the customer and the salespeople are coming from.
