New DMS System

Please confirm or deny the rumors that EDS will announce a new centrally hosted DMS system. We are a small rural store, what are the factors in determining if this would be right for us? Thanks BD

New DMS System

BD, it is true that at NADA EDS will be launching our centrally served (ASP - Application Service Provider) DMS. EDS is building off our strength as one of the world's leading IT providers and leveraging our capabilities in delivering ASP solutions to 100,000's of users across many industries on a daily basis.

We think clients and prospects will enjoy have an additional option when purchsing a DMS solution. EDS will continue to offer our decentralized solution in the market, thus effectively providing two solutions with similar functionality and capability with very different total cost of ownership (TCO) models and associated 'dealer' support requirements.

If you are going to be at NADA, please stop our display (co-located next to NADA's booth) and we would be happy to demonstrate both offerings to you and discuss pricing.

In addition, just prior to NADA EDS will be releasing a document that will assist dealers in evaluating if ASP delivered solutions are right for them. I will email you a copy just prior to NADA or once again, you can pick one up in our NADA booth.
