I am looking for some assistance understanding the full impact of using ADP's new grid feature. I took the tutorial, but it doesn't fully explain how this impacts SSPS, setting it up for labor types, any suprises, etc. Hoping someone has some experience with this new feature.

Rusty, hopefully the following provides some additional insight to you...

Websuite2006S grid pricing is brand new feature functionality that is integrated with ADPs Service Pricing solution to provide service customers with a single accurate price or quote. The user can setup as many different grids as they would like. Once created, the grid can then be assigned to a customer, labor type and Op-code.

In the hierarchy of which charge overrides which:

Op-code is top the feeling is that if a grid is assigned, then it probably has special pricing and should override everything else

Customer is second this allows the user to give special pricing to the customer and eliminate the need for the advisor to know or remember that the customer gets different pricing

Labor type is last

Then based on the customer, labor type or op-code, pricing is generated.
