I was sure there was a function in ADP that gave the aging breakdown of any given schedule (30/60/90/120+ days) - R&R used to have it on the very last page of all schedules. In ADP, isn't there a function that will give me this breakdown?

3 ways

1. Standard function AGRS - At detail level prompt, hit spacebar until it says GRAND TOTAL

2. You may have the custom car-ink function CI-SAR on your -A logon.

3. If you have web2005, from the accouting desktop use the Reports pull down for Schedules and choose Grand Total

Option 2 doesn't seem to work unless everyone else is out of accounting (not gonna happen too much with 5 stores), and I've tried options 1 and 3, and just get a grand total - not a breakdown of the aging.

Someone else had told me about the websuite 2005 option (#3) as well - is there a place I need to do a setup to give me the aging?

I was positive there was a separate function, though, that gave this breakdown to assist with reporting aging on the financial statement statistical entries.

I had never heard of that Grand Total thing, so I ran it, but it doesn't give any ageing totals???

Maybe something could be built in RPG? I'll play with that when I have some time.

I just use ARP, and we maintain an excel spreadsheet for CIT which I use to get my stat data.

For option 1 to work, the schedule must be built as an aged schedule. This is done in AGRF (report formats)

For option 2, the schedule does not need to be aged like option 1.
I didn't realize that this routine wouldn't work with others in accounting. Are you sure it isn't just a case of someone breaking out of the CI-SAR routine on a previous attempt?

I must not have it - I was in -A, SAR - not CI. I don't have CI.
