Release 5000 & problems with DOC MGR

Good Mornin all,
I just figured I would post notice that the Dealerline Release 5000 has some potential problems with Document Manager. The interesting thing is I got the word from one of the techs at RVI, and not from EDS. I have spoken with the techs at RVI for many years, and we have built a pretty good business relationship. Specifically I was told that Release 5000 breaks the integration with Serviceline and bar coding/scanning. I am extremely grateful that my bud at RVI gave me a call, but a little worried why I did not hear anything from EDS.

Matt can you make sure that your RVI customers are aware of this potential problem.

Jason,

Thank you for bringing the Release 5000 issue to our attention via DealersEdge. However, the issue you are referring to has already been corrected and the fix for this issue has been downloaded to our current customers utilizing Document Manager. Your store will already have this fix in place when you load Release 5000 so you should not experience any Document Manager troubles related to Release 5000.
