RR vs EDS vs Arkona

We are in the process of evaluating DMS offerings prior to extending our current contract with RR. We are evaluating reynolds XT, ADP and Arkona. Our dealerships are Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Infiniti, Saturn, Honda, Lexus, BMW and Volvo. If anyone can provide some real life experiences, either positive or negative, I would greatly appreciate it. I only am exposed to the vendors reference list and of course they all think their solution is the greatest thing since sliced bread (or else they would not be a reference)

I would compare changing DMS to losing a Highly paid but efficient employee.

If you let an employee go- one that creates harmony and fluidity within the dealership-someone everyone is familiar with- just because they are more expensive than someone you can hire off the street....Do you really save money?

Agree whole heartedly, but difference, potentially, could be in the 20K/month range. I need to be able to quantify objectively why the extra 20K would be worth the money. Basically what I'm after is ammunition for either arguement. I am not a decision maker but a key person providing input into the decision.

OK, being that listed both Infiniti and Saturn, it is my belief that you can not have a uniform DMS offering across all of your stores? Correct? What are you trying to accomplish...one system across all, one system provider but potentially different platforms by make, the best for each environment?
