D2D Update?

Since GM is pressuring us to get signed up by the 22nd of November, what is the latest from EDS as to whether the downloads can happen? I saw the previous string, and attempted to call Gene Richards at the number provided (248-265-4899) and it appears to be a fax/modem line. D2D is telling me it can be automated thru EA, but we need to buy another software package from AutoSoft...

Don't buy ANYTHING.....EDS has a group deal with AutoMate on the software.

Bruce, EDS has developed several ways in which you can accomplish providing this data to GM. They range from having the 'report' developed using Query and you manually emailing it GM (Digital Motor Works) all the way to the process being completely automated using Executive Assistant (as the report generator tool), a software product called Automate that basically FTP's the file to GM, and DealerPath if you do not have a solution for Internet access and email capability.
