RAD report on ADP

Can I run an RAD report for the month of October on November 5th?

IF not, is the Net Appreciation totals on the MGR Reports Grand Totals page accurate?

The MGR net is accurate.

Best to worst case scenarios for a reprint.

1. When you run the month-end, instead of printing the reports, you sent the reports to the Document Archiving (DA) storage.

2 When you run month-end, you did include RAD to print but misplaced it. Function RRP (Reprint reports) would allow you to reprint the report. Retention is a setup that you can control.

3. You didn't run RAD during the month-end process and MNE cleared the numbers. Your solution here is to build a report in PDA using function G.

Building the report
1. Use the Transactions file
2. In selecttion, choose the date range (F1 help is nice)
3. In selection choose PROGRAM DS,PS
4. Report Fields of your choice. Typically PART NUMBER, QTY, O.H.
5. Feel free to test your work by sending to the terminal and hitting F7. To get out of the report without hitting break, use Control X.

After you get the report, make sure your jobstack has the reports you may need for next month.

A couple of caveats about RAD in ADP:

If someone adds a part that is not on the price tape, and puts a cost of, say, one penny in just to get the part added, then the part does finally update from the next month's update, it may consider the price increase as appreciation; when in fact it is a first-time pricing. Or, if you have an erroneous on-hand qty. when the update calculates the appreciation, it is going to be a false number on your report. It is imperative to run the report and review it for possible problems before you give the number to your accounting department to adjust the general ledger value.
