has anyone successfully used excel to print bar codes that work with partscan?

the lables that come out of our label printer via PSLB are horribly sticky, and leave a mess. I've found the avery 6460 lables adhere well and leave no mess when removed.

i'd like to label up my high density bins with these lables. I would also like to use bar codes and my PDT 3140 scanner.


I've found some free code39 fonts that change the part-numbers into barcodes nicely, but they wont scan.

has anyone had success with such a quest?

free code39 font works, just have to add an asterisk to the beginning and the end. question answered!
