R&R Detail 2

I'm in a GM dealership, and there's something I'm curious about: In R&R 2101 Part Maintenance, there is a "Detail 2" field. What do all the letters mean? Is there valuable information there, or is that a manufacturer thing that's useless at the dealership level? Thanks in advance for your help.
