Can anyone give me a valid explanation as to why, when you do a stock order, with customers orders included, backorders at your local PDC don't automatically refer to a facility that has stock available.

Day in, day out, send DRO, reveiw, upgrade backorders & then watch them suddenly bill to another depot. Doesn't make any sense! If there's stock out there, REFER AUTOMATICALLY.

The only justification I can see would be shipping via undesirable means, e.g. UPS, FED-EX, etc.

Stock AVAILABLE, SHIP!

Please Provide EXCUSES!!

All DRO's backorder at thir first stocking location. All CSO's will refer nationally except for sheetmetal item (i.e.,hoods, doors, deck lids etc...), these will refer through your local chain and Flint only. This has been in place since the inception of GPS

Somebody help me out,DRO type 3 or 4 or 5,
I cant remeber, but it will let orders refer.
Did I read this or was it just a nightmare.
