We're a 6 store auto group: 5 rooftops with ADP, 1 rooftop with Reynolds.
The Reynolds store is the most recently added. I am proficient in ADP and currently learning to speak ReyRey.
ADP's JOB stack function posts all parts & service transactions, every night, automatically, when I tell it to. So of course, my ADP DOC sheet reflects yesterday's business each morning, providing a very accurate MTD number.
When I explain this ADP function to our Reynolds trainers, their faces contort into fleshy question marks, explaining Reynolds doesn't have that function. Is this true?
I was demonstrated, however, how EACH repair order has to be individually posted to accounting with a series of prompts and keystrokes. Only then, after EVERY repair order is individually posted, you can run a DOC and see a true number. Not only do I find this very cumbersome, but also time consuming.
Is all of this true, or am I being grossly mis-informed?
